Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data SpreadCalc Pro ("we", "us") collects when you use the SpreadCalc Pro app and website (the "Service"), why we collect it, and the choices you have. SpreadCalc Pro is a professional dealing terminal for precious metals spread calculations.

No account required

You do not need to create an account to use SpreadCalc Pro, and the app does not ask for your name, email address or any other contact details. Access is provided through a subscription purchased from Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play).

Data we collect

App identifier. The app generates a random identifier for your installation. It is shared with our subscription provider and our price server so the app can unlock your subscription and serve live prices. It is not connected to your name, email address or Apple ID or Google account, and we cannot identify you from it.
Subscription data. When you subscribe, Apple or Google processes the payment; we never see your card details. We receive confirmation of your subscription status (plan, trial status, start and renewal dates) linked to the app identifier above, so that your access can be unlocked and restored on a new device.
On your device only. Your dealer configuration (display currency and buy/sell spreads) and a short-lived cache of market prices are stored on your device so the app starts quickly and works briefly offline. This data is not sent to us.

We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, or any data from other apps. The Service contains no advertising, no analytics SDKs and no tracking. We never sell personal data.

How we use your data

To confirm your subscription and unlock the app.
To provide live market prices only to active subscribers, as required by our market-data licence.
To restore your subscription if you reinstall the app or change device.
To respond when you contact us.

We do not use your data for marketing, profiling or advertising, and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes.

Service providers

We use a small number of processors to run the Service, each bound by terms requiring protection of your data equivalent to this policy:

Apple — processes subscription payments through the App Store under Apple's own privacy policy and terms.
Google — processes subscription payments through Google Play under Google's own privacy policy and terms.
RevenueCat — manages subscription status and receipt validation on our behalf. It receives the app identifier and purchase records from Apple or Google; it does not receive your name, email or payment details.
Supabase / Lovable Cloud — hosting for the Service and storage for the market-price cache.
GoldAPI.io — supplies the precious-metals market prices shown in the app. Price data flows one way, from GoldAPI to us; no data about you is ever sent to GoldAPI.

Retention and deletion

Subscription records are kept for as long as needed to provide the Service and to meet our accounting obligations. Your subscription is managed by Apple or Google and can be cancelled at any time in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. To delete the subscription records held against your app identifier, or any other data, email us at aarondean1992@yahoo.co.uk and we will remove them. Deleting the app removes all data stored on your device.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under UK and EU data protection law), you have the right to access, correct, export or erase your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email us at aarondean1992@yahoo.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office).

Security

All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS). Live prices are served only to verified subscribers. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the nature of the data we hold.

Children

The Service is a professional tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16; if you believe a child has subscribed, contact us and we will help remove any data.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy we will update this page and revise the effective date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
